Terms of Service

Last updated: April 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Ought platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ought provides a multi-tenant waiting room platform that manages user queuing during high-traffic events. The Service runs on Cloudflare's edge network and includes queue management, theme customization, bypass rules, and related features.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and session credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malware or malicious code; (d) attempt to bypass security controls; (e) interfere with other tenants' use of the Service.

5. Service Level

During the beta period, the Service is provided "as is" without SLA guarantees. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability. Enterprise customers may negotiate specific SLA terms.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Each tenant's data is isolated in a separate database. We do not access tenant data except for operational support purposes with your consent.

7. Pricing and Payment

Pricing is as published on our Pricing page. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Custom pricing arrangements are documented separately per tenant. Overages are billed at the published flex rate.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, your tenant data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ought's liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Ought is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms should be directed to our contact page.
